Set of cards depicting the infamous Canning case (details included with the cards). In the late 18thC, a Romani woman was arrested and accused of kidnapping a gorjer in London. She had dozens of witnesses to say she was elsewhere but the prosecution said she was a witch and had flown on her broomstick. She was destined to hang and then justice, at last, prevailed.
